March 2009
Gary Moore has completed mixing and producing the 23-track How To Be soundtrack. The album is now set to be mastered at Optimum Mastering Studios in Bristol.

The How To Be U.S tour has been announced-please see the How To Be website for further details. Festival tickets will be available soon through each festival website, and tickets for special tour screenings can be purchased directly through each theatre beginning this Wednesday 18 March. Joe Hastings will be in attendance, along with Director Oliver Irving.

Gary Moore is currently mixing and producing the How To Be soundtrack ready for its release at the end of April. The album will be available through Dreamboat records on CD and iTunes.

Hastings Moore are excited to announce the much-anticipated U.S. release of How To Be! The film has been picked up for distribution by IFC Films and will premiere on IFC Festival Direct in April. To coincide with IFC’s spring release, the How To Be soundtrack will be available on iTunes and on CD through Dreamboat Records. Full details of the release to come soon. Leading up to the release, How To Be is going on a U.S. tour! Joe Hastings along with Oliver Irving (Writer/Director), Mike Pearce (Nikki), and Johnny White (Ronny) will be bringing the film to select cities, hitting states along the East coast from Florida to Massachusetts. April tour dates are still being finalized, but stay tuned for updates!

How To Be is set to screen at the Lone Star Film Festival this month. See here for details.

October 2008
How To Be has been selected to appear at the Indie 2008 World Film Festival in Brazil. The festival is running from the 10-16 October.

September 2008
Hastings Moore have been commissioned to compose and produce the music for Flame 47's next project, tentatively titled 'The Mapmaker', a brief Synopsis will follow shortly.
How To Be will be screening at the New Orleans Film festival in October of this year. How To Be has been selected to appear at the Austin Film Festival which runs from 16-23 October, 2008.

August 2008 How To Be has been announced as the opening film at the Strasbourg Film Festival.

July 2008 The date has been announced for the first cast and crew screening of Hunger (Flame 47). The music was composed and produced by Hastings Moore Productions. The screening is due to take place at SOHO screening rooms on 10/10/08.

How To Be has been accepted into the Calgary International Film Festival, which runs from the 18-19 September, 2008.

How To Be has been selected to appear at the Rhode Island international film festival, which takes place in Providence, Rhode Island from August 5th to August 10th.

Hunger - a short film directed by first time Director Stephen Johnson and written and produced by Scott James Bassett (Bullet Boy, Yes and Brick Lane).

We are pleased to announce that How To Be will gain its world premiere at the
Slamdance film festival, Park City, Utah in January 2008. The festival has previously unearthed a range of now well established directors, including; Christopher Nolan, Marc Forster and Jared Hess. Composer, Joe Hastings will be in attendance for the full 10 days of the festival, for more information go to the Slamdance website.

November 2007
How To Be will screen its world premiere at the Slamdance film festival, Park City, Utah in January 2008. Dates 17th – 27th January.

Hastings Moore has just completed the music for Oliver Irving’s feature film entitled
How To Be. Recording took place at the Loft recording Studios and was mixed in 5.1 surround sound at Tate Music's audio post studio in London by re-recording mixer Matthew Gough. (Cold Mountain, The Brothers Grimm & Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban).

August 2007
Hastings Moore completes the composing and recording of the
How To Be soundtrack. The soundtrack has been carefully orchestrated around the introspective and adolescent songs performed by Robert Pattinson (Arthur) in the film.

June 2007
Hastings Moore Productions have been commissioned to compose, record and produce the sound track for the feature film
How To Be starring Robert Pattinson, Jeremy Hardy and Rebecca Pigeon. The film is described as ‘a timely look at increasingly common phenomena: grown-up children living at home, frustrated creativity and self-help’.
