Hastings Moore have been working hard in their studio to finish their most ambitious composition and production to date, an extended composition for the play Elevator. The piece, written for a 10 piece string ensemble, prepared piano and assorted percussive and stringed instruments is an attempt at compressing the drama of the 1 hour and 15 minute theatre piece, partly as short excerpts to segue scene breaks but culminating in a climactic three minute passage, which hopefully unfurls with the drama. Recordings took place at various locations over a 4 week period and the results are amazing - excerpts will be up on here soon for you all to hear! For performance dates, times etc go to: New Diorama.
